How do I install and launch Jinbu?
Download the official package from this page when available. Extract it to a writable folder, keep the launcher with the game files, then run Jinbu v92.exe. Let the launcher finish checking and updating before starting the game.
The launcher cannot update or connect.
Check your internet connection and available disk space, close any other Jinbu game or launcher process, and try again. Check Discord for maintenance announcements. If it persists, keep the exact error text for support.
A game file is missing or quarantined.
Review your security software's protection history to identify the exact file. Verify that your download came from this page and ask support to check the detection. Do not disable protection globally or download replacement DLLs from unofficial sites.
Do I need .NET or Visual C++?
The Jinbu launcher itself has no .NET or Visual C++ runtime prerequisite. The game payload may require its bundled Microsoft runtimes. If an error names a missing runtime, use the prerequisites supplied with the official release or Microsoft's official installer.
Can I play on macOS or Linux?
Jinbu is a Windows client. Compatibility-layer support has not been verified for this release. Check future release notes before relying on an older Wine or CrossOver setup.
My account says it is already logged in.
Close any remaining Jinbu process and wait briefly before trying again. If your character remains stuck, sign in to your account and open Character Fixes. Contact support if those tools do not resolve it.
I forgot my password or PIC.
Use password recovery for your account password. For PIC help, sign in and open the PIC tools in Your account. Email recovery becomes available when Jinbu's mail service is connected.
I cannot find a setting or understand a new feature.
Search the player guide. Resolution and opacity options are available through the in-game settings menu. The entrance NPC gives current boss admission and reward requirements.
